About the tour
The hop-on hop-off sightseeing tour includes the Red Inner Tour, which starts and finishes at the main Downtown Auckland stop, connecting with the Summer Bonus Blue Tour at the Auckland Museum.
The Red Inner Tour covers downtown and central Auckland plus eastern Auckland highlights, including the Sky Tower, the Auckland War Memorial Museum, and SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium.
The Summer Bonus Blue Tour covers central and western Auckland, with highlights including Mt Eden / Maungawhau, Auckland Zoo and MOTAT. The Blue Outer Tour is only available over the Summer period each year (October – April).
The Red Inner Tour takes approximately 70 minutes to complete a full, non-stop loop, and the Summer Bonus Blue Tour takes approximately 50 minutes to complete a full, non-stop loop.
Tours depart regularly throughout the day, every 30 minutes from all stops*.
Red Inner Tour Timetable:
- First bus departs at 9 am from the Downtown Auckland stop (Stop 1)
- Last bus departs at 4 pm from the Downtown Auckland stop (Stop 1)
- Last tour terminates at 5 pm at the Downtown Auckland stop (Stop 1)
Summer Bonus Blue Tour Timetable:
- First bus departs at 9.30 am from the Auckland Museum stop (Stop 5)
- Last bus departs at 3.30 pm from the Auckland Museum stop (Stop 5)
- Last tour terminates at 4.20 pm at the Auckland Museum stop (Stop 5)
Are you staying in the CBD? The first bus from Stop 2 departs at 9.05 am, and the first bus from Stop 3 departs at 9.10 am.
