With Click Book Go online seat availability, fares, instant confirmation reservation ticketing system, you can check fare/timetable information, check seat availability and make 'Instant Confirmation' reservations for Tranz Scenic long distance passenger train services and Interislander ferry services.
Click Book Go online seat availability/instant confirmation, is an easy to use, simple 4 step booking system that is secure and encrypted for Visa (Not Visa Electron), Mastercard, Diners Club or American Express card processing.
To check fare/s, timetable, seat availability and make 'Instant Confirmation' train/rail reservation/s:
a. From the search box on the top of this page, click on the 'Departure City' you wish to depart from, then click on your 'Arrival City' and click on the 'Search' button and page will appear with all train/rail services departing from that 'Departure City'.
b. Click on the 'Continue' icon and a pop window will appear with 'Price, Availability and Reservations' functions.
c. Click on the day you want to travel, the number of people travelling and follow the various steps to complete your reservation.
d. If the train and/or ferry service you would like to travel on, is showing available under the 'Status' column, click on the orange 'Next' button for fares and reservations. Once you have completed the booking process, you will be able to pint out your 'Booking Confirmation/E- Ticket'. Note - Please place the put the first name of the passenger travelling in the 'Booking Name' field and in the 'Passenger Name' field.
If there is 2 or more people on the same reservation, please enter the remain passenger names in the 'Passenger Name' field.
e. If the train and/or ferry service you would like to travel on, is showing ' On Request ' - once your reservation has has been confirmed by a Railnewzealand.com Consultant, you will receive an confirmation email which will have a link, where you will be able to print out your 'Booking Confirmation/E-Ticket'. f. The nearest railway station to Auckland International Airport to board The Overlander train is Middlemore Railway Station approximately 15-20 minutes by taxi/shuttle bus. The cost of the taxi or shuttle bus is additional to The Overlander train fare.
g. If making an Interislander ferry reservation with a vehicle, you must book the driver, passenger/s plus the vehicle. Vehicles fares do not include the driver or other passenger/s in the vehicle being booked.
h. All Visa (Not Visa Electron), Mastercard, Diners Club, American Express, JCB, Westpac Visa Debitplus, Prepaid Reloadable Visa or NZ Post Visa 'Prezzy' card transactions are processed by IPay New Zealand/IPay NZ Ltd.
Reservations are made as one way 'Point to Point' travel except for 'Day Excursion' reservations which are made on a 'Return Travel' basis.
