Greymouth Day Excursion
Travel by the award winning TranzAlpine train crossing the Canterbury Plains westward to the snow covered Southern Alps, ascending to the alpine township of Arthurs Pass before descending through the Otira Tunnel to the West Coast of South Island and onto Greymouth for an one hour stopover before returning to Christchurch.
The TranzAlpine train has a viewing carriage and Buffet Carriage that serves drinks, snack and light meals.
